What burns more fat: high intensity or low intensity cardio?

Jamie

HIT, high intensity training is all the rage. Work hard, get in, get out, done. But do 30 minute HIT workouts burn more fat than a typical one hour class you’ll find at most fitness centers? Longer low intensity cardiovascular workouts burn more energy during the session, but high intensity cardio burns more fat by the end of the day. You can actually burn more total calories by doing short, hard cardio exercises than one hour medium intensity classes. These are not easy; expect to sweat. The upside is that now you can spend less time in the gym and get increased results.
