Exercise is great for the body, but I didn’t know that “most studies find a lower risk of dementia over time for people who exercise or are lifelong exercises verses those who don’t.” As people age, they exercise less and less. One of the most devastating diseases is dementia, which my grandmother had. My mom would visit my grandmother often, and her own mom didn’t recognize her.

 

If you can protect your mind by walking 30-60 minutes a day, that should be a major incentive to get moving. To preserve your future memories, lose those extra pounds too, or if you are at a healthy weight, don’t gain any weight. That ice cream is really easy to eat but it may hurt your brain function in the future.
