The 80/20 rule

Most of us have heard of the 80/20 rule. If you eat clean 80% of the time and eat and drink foods that aren’t so healthy 20% of the time, you’ll stay lean. If you cannot get those stubborn pounds off even though you’re following this rule, you’re not alone. When my fitness trainer Bobby Cox is asked by his clients who are prepping for a fitness competition when they can cheat, he tells them, “there’s NO cheating.”

 

Our bodies were not designed to eat junk and drink multiple pints of beer. If you want to see your physique truly transform, follow my 98/2 rule…eat nutritious foods 98% percent of the time.

  1. I followed the sugar free diet for one week and have lost 3 pounds! Although it’s not easy I have been able to substitute fruits, apple sauce, sugar free bread and crackers and use plenty of herbs and spices to my dishes to make them tasty. I’m also drinking a lot more water. Many thanks for the push to do this.
