Money or Sex or Junk food?

burger and fries

Always curious as to what people think, I’ve asked folks the following questions and was surprised by their answers.

Question 1: Would you abstain from sex for a year if you were given one million dollars? There were women and MEN who said yes…wow!

Question 2: Would you avoid all forms of alcohol for a year if you were given one million dollars? Fewer people said yes to this question.

Question 3: Would you give up all junk food for a year if you were given one million dollars? Even fewer people said yes to this question.

It’s interesting and sad that people are willing to give up bad habits and things they enjoy for money when good health should be the sole motivating factor. Depending on someone’s financial situation, the amount of money to motivate them is less or more than the million dollars. Famous people such as Valerie Bertinelli, Dan Moreno, Jessica Simpson, Jason Alexander, Marie Osmond and Jennifer Hudson agreed to change their diets and dropped weight after given contracts with restricted food diet plans, so money and fame motivated them to make changes in what and how much they ate. What would motivate you to make positive changes?

I’d love to hear how you would respond to one or all of the above questions.

Photo: Could you give up burgers and French fries? I have. It’s not worth the calories or the pending stomachache later.
