ab exercise to tighten up those flabby sides

There seems to be a ton of upper and lower abdominal exercises on DVDs and in club classes but what’s less common are oblique exercises. We don’t want “love handles.” Here’s an abdominal exercise that Coach Nate had me do here that works the sides (obliques) and the lower abs with risers from a Reebok Step. Keep your back straight and chest up to protect your back. To make it harder, keep your legs straight and high. To make it easier, bend your legs more and keep your feet closer to the ground. Do three sets for a great abdominal toning workout.
