Spiced Broccoli Chips
These roasted broccoli pieces are reminiscent of the kale chips you’ll find in grocery stores today, except these are much cheaper and contain fewer calories.
Spiced Broccoli Chips
1/4 tsp Sea Salt
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 tsp Garlic powder
1 TBSP Coconut flour
1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp Dried thyme
Chopped Broccoli heads (cut into very small pieces & don’t use stems)
Yogurt (plain vegan coconut, or plain vegan soy yogurt are my top picks)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put parchment paper on a cookie sheet. Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, coconut flour, cayenne pepper and thyme leaves into a medium-sized bowl and mix with a spoon. Toss the chopped broccoli into the dried seasonings and then spread out onto the parchment paper.
Cook in oven for 30 minutes. Stir and flip broccoli pieces and bake for another 15 minutes. Shake off excess flour and place broccoli on a plate, drizzle with your yogurt of choice and place 1/4 cup of yogurt in a small bowl for dipping. This a very filling and healthy snack.
