A Paleo Cookbook You Gotta Try!

The Paleo Kitchen by Bauer & Bryant

If you’re looking for a cookbook with delicious, healthy Paleo meals, I recommend The Paleo Kitchen by Bauer & Bryant. There are vegan dishes too, and they’re all gluten and dairy-free.

My favorites recipes are the Sun-Dried Tomato Sweet Potato Hash, sweet potato biscuits, Bacon Sweet Potato Hash with Apples & Pears (I used nitrate-free ham instead of bacon), Sage & Shallot Delicata Squash Soup, Chicken Zoodle Soup with zucchini noodles, Steak fajita Salad, Pan Seared Rosemary Sage Pork Chops with Apples and Pears, Twice-Bake Stuffed Butternut Squash, Loaded BBQ Sweet Potatoes, Perfect Meatballs with Sage Sweet Potato Noodles, Sweet & Savory Open-Faced Sliders, Marinated Steak & Pineapple Kabobs, Mongolian Beef over Cauliflower Rice, Pineapple Green Smoothie (freeze the pineapple pieces and omit the ice), and the Ginger Apple Pear Smoothie (freeze the diced apple and pear and omit the ice…oh yum!).

I use ground turkey instead of beef, and ham instead of bacon to keep the fat and calories lower. Many of the dishes ask for cauliflower and/or sweet potato so if you don’t like either of those vegetables, Paleo meals may not be your thing.

There are desserts in this cookbook too, but I’m saving one of those for when I’m having guests over because I’m worried I’ll eat the whole thing; they all look scrumptious!
