The truth about carbs
People who increase glycogen storage by eating more carbs are resistant to weight gain, but for this to happen you have to be really fit. If you are extremely fit like a tri-athlete, you can eat more carbohydrates and won’t get fat, but don’t go overboard because excess carbs will turn into fat (1).
Another truth is that you won’t see muscle gains if your carb intake is too low. You can’t bulk and shred at the same time (bummer!).
