if going low carb, don’t go high protein…here’s why

If you’re trying a low-carb diet for a few days to lose fat, you may be tempted to also eat a high percentage of calories from protein since we know protein burns more calories in the digestion process.

It’s actually advised to do a high-fat, moderate protein diet because too much protein can tax the kidneys and leave you dehydrated.
