Prevent late-night chow-downs

today's salad

You want to lose weight so had a good breakfast and ate a small lunch and dinner, but you’re still starving so you eat some chips and then devour have the tub of ice cream. Those cravings feel unavoidable and uncontrollable. To prevent this cycle of binging from reoccurring, add ½ to ¾ cup of carbs, such as grains or sweet potatoes to your dinner. (Those 175 calories are less than the 300 or so from snacking). Also, make sure your dinner includes a sufficient amount of protein, and a low-calorie fibrous component, like cauliflower, broccoli, salad, or Brussel sprouts. Then sip a large glass of water since thirst sometimes masquerades as hunger.
