A small study in Brazil showed that just eating 1 Brazil nut a week can lower cholesterol. More is not better because Brazil nuts can become toxic since they are high in selenium. Findings can be flawed, so if you want to lower your cholesterol and reduce your risk of heart attack and heart disease that’s been proven time and time again, you should eliminate all processed foods, sugar and meat from your diet.
