A must-have for ingredient for athletes
Long, intense workouts cause stress on the body so it makes sense that athletes get sick often even though they may have low body fat, and low resting heart rates, and eat well. So how do these fit folks protect themselves from getting cancer? Cutting back on exercise is one way, but no one wants to give up or cut back on a sport they love. An easy (and tasty) way to boost immune function is to eat nutritional yeast before a workout. Nutritional yeast sounds yucky, but it’s mild, and tastes like a parmesan cheese. I like nutritional yeast sprinkled on top of pasta and soup; and I hear it’s fabulous on popcorn.
