Should you use your phone during exercising?
After a one-hour hard weight-training session at the gym, I got on the recumbent bike, set it to random and intensity at 11. A trainer walked by me and asked, “What are you doing?” “Cardio;” I replied. He said, “If you want cardio, do the stair-stepper and use your phone so it’s less miserable.” I don’t want to do the same type of cardio every time I go to the gym, that’s boring.
I explained to the trainer, “Riding the bike on this level adds muscle to my quads, which is what I want. I don’t carry my phone with me during my workout because I want to focus on the task at hand.” He laughed at me, but it turns out, I was right.
The very next day, I received an email with an article that stated, “In a recent study, individuals who used their cell phones to text during a treadmill workout actually exercised at a lower intensity and enjoyed their workouts less than those who didn’t” (1).
The only times I have my cell phone with me during exercise is when I plan to take a selfie (that’s me in the photo above) or film an exercise video.

You are trying to say, should not use phone when exercising?
But why? would you please explain details??
you can try it with and without a phone and you’ll see that the phone distracts you from the task at hand so you won’t be pedaling as fast or as hard
