These seasoned, plant-based, vegan, sweet potato fries are oil-free, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, exactly the way I like them. The only seasoning is paprika. Eat plain or with your favorite barbecue sauce.

Ingredients:

2 large sweet potatoes

paprika

drinking water

Here’s how I make oil-free, crispy fries:

Directions: Rinse sweet potatoes. Cut into thin fries. Preheat oven to 375°. Sprinkle water on fries and toss. The water prevents the fries from being too dry and allows the seasoning to stick to the fries. Add enough paprika to coat all the fries, and toss again.

Place fries on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Place the fries inside oven on the top rack. Flip fries with a spatula, every 20 minutes.

After fries have been cooking for one hour, remove from oven and enjoy. Serve hot with ketchup or BBQ sauce.
