why he’s ripped and you’re not

How the heck does one person have ripped abs who eats hot pockets for breakfast and shuns vegetables, while another person who eats homemade low-fat Paleo meals has belly fat that just won’t melt off? The reason is: one person burns more calories than the other. To make yourself a calorie-burning machine, you need muscle. Cardio alone is not going to churn enough calories unless you’re a runner. The more muscle you have, the more calories you will expend. Don’t worry about bulking up; it takes extremely heavy weight-lifting to get huge like Bobby Cox, in the photo above.
